Work from home Reading

The Journal article that chose is Dive, the author is Gina Cole.
When I started to read this journal I really liked it because it had some interesting words.
The sources that I used are Word art for one of the create tasks and for the other one I used Screencastify. If you could choose any Journal in the slides what would you pick?

Frozen Fire

This is my finished narrative writing. I named this Frozen Fire because their parents want to go to war but since their ancestors signed the treaty the fire inside them can't get out. Hope you like it.

Interpreting graphs

This is our last week where we do maths at home. This week's work is about graphs, there is a picture of a graph and some questions about it. We put our answers in a slide show. Each slide Is about a different graph. Here is what we have to answer and here is where we put them.

Narrative writing and Language features

We have to write our first draft for our narrative writing. We have to include language features like a simile. My writing is about two best friends named Ozai and Azula, they are the only ones that can stop their parents from going to war. Here is a small part of my narrative writing and y language features.

"The two of them realized that this could lead to war. By each day it keeps getting worst so Azula’s family went back to their palace. Ozai and Azula still kept in touch so they could figure out a plan to stop all of this but it’s going to be hard"

Making Ends Meet Menu

This week we had to finish our menu for maths. It has to be suitable for a family of 4. The menu has to have a meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also have to calculate how much the ingredients cost. For example, if I'm making toast for breakfast I have to look up the ingredients on one of the supermarket sites that is provided in the slides. The supermarkets that we can choose from are PAK'nSAVE, Countdown or new world. Here is my menu. What would you have for breakfast, lunch and dinner?

This week I made a book cover for reading, the book I chose was Happily Ever Afterlife Ghostcoming. The author of this book is Orli Zuravicky. I made the book cover by using Canva.

Making Ends Meet

This week our task for maths was to make a menu for our family.
We have to plan a menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The other thing that we have to do is answer questions about fractions.
We also have to practice adding decimals.

Narrative writing

This week we are doing narrative writing but first, we have to plan it out. First we have to pick a topic, the three topics we could choose from are Horror, Fantasy or Action/adventure. I chose to do Fantasy.
