I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. This week we read a short story about a Mum who couldn't afford Christmas gifts for her kids. Instead, she made the gift herself and that was a trolley. Issues that popped up were poverty and being anxious about Christmas gifts.
